A thrilling partnership has formed between Amazon and Apple, allowing Amazon Prime Video users to soon purchase Apple TV+ and watch award-winning Apple Originals content such as The Morning Show, Slow Horses, and Severance directly through Prime Video, without the need for an additional app.
Subscribers Will Be Able to Watch Apple TV+ Content Directly Through Amazon Prime Video
Amazon Prime Video subscribers will soon be able to subscribe to Apple TV+ and access the aforementioned award-winning Apple Originals content. It’s important to note that in addition to your existing Prime Video subscription, you’ll need to purchase an Apple TV+ subscription for $9.99.
The main goal of this partnership between Apple and Amazon is to combine their subscriber bases and attract more viewers. Additionally, it’s noted that Apple may use this opportunity to reach Android users more effectively.
The addition of Apple TV+ content for an extra subscription fee will significantly expand Prime Video’s content offerings. Apple Originals productions have received a total of 2,308 award nominations and won 516 awards to date.
Apple TV+ also includes sports events such as Major League Soccer and Major League Baseball, along with award-winning shows like Ted Lasso and CODA. Moreover, it features live MLB games every week through “Friday Night Baseball.” This partnership will initially benefit users in the U.S., with plans to expand to more regions in the future.
